VirtualDub does not have any malicious code or any dialer logic. This is a false alarm caused by an exceptionally poor Registry key matching pattern in McAfee (anything in Software\Freeware) which misdetects VirtualDub's stored settings as from a dialer.
#3D SUBTITLER 32 BIT FOR MAC OS X#
Sorry, but there is no native version for Mac OS X or Linux.Īntivirus software issue: Some versions of McAfee Antivirus have a bug where they report a Dialer-182 spyware infection after running VirtualDub 1.8.x.

This version will run on both x86 (32-bit) and 圆4 (64-bit) versions of Windows. Requirements: Microsoft Windows 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, Server, or newer 80486 or higher CPU 16MB of memory. (Do not run it directly from the zip file!) Unzip the contents into a new folder and run VirtualDub.exe. This is the current release of VirtualDub for end users, containing the executable and supporting files. If the "list mirror" links are coming up as zip files, your browser is misconfigured, as it is ignoring the Content-Type: text/html declaration from the server. Note 2: All download links here lead to the SourceForge mirroring system, so you must not do a Save As from these links, or you will just get an HTML file. Please do not link to the files directly, as direct linking is a bandwidth and administrative hassle.

It is better if you link to this page instead, in order to avoid becoming stale as new versions are released. If you would like to mirror VirtualDub, be aware that it is not valid under the GPL to mirror the binary alone. Please read it before redistributing or mirroring. Note: The material in these files is released under the GNU General Public License. Please support them in their noble quest. Downloadable files for VirtualDub are hosted by SourceForge, which provides free services for open-source and free software projects.
